Antonio’s Restaurant, like Sonya’s Garden, is synonymous to Tagaytay.

Today, Antonio’s refers to a group of fine-dining restaurants including Breakfast at Antonio’s, Balay Dako, and Terraza Bar & Grill.

The most exclusive section at Antonio’s is The Chef’s Room, making it perfect for couples who value their privacy. You can think of it as a “secret room” that can accommodate up to 70 guests only.

The well-appointed dining place overlooks the entire restaurant but without the privy of the other diners.

Buon Giorno Caffe and Bistro

Buon Giorno has several branches, but the best ones for a date are the Twin Lakes and the Cliffhouse branches. Both offer a panoramic view of the place.

Not to mention, it’s an Italian dining place. An Italian feast and wine pairing are always romantic. Then there’s the view that couples can revel to their hearts’ content.

Charito by Bag of Beans

Charito by Bag of Beans is a charming, French diner that is built with richly adorned rooms.

More than just the delightful feast, the surrounding elevates the amorous mood. Linger a little bit with a bottle of wine to go with your main course.

Tsokolateria

There is no sweeter gesture than a bucket full of chocolates, but at Tsokolateria, it’s a different story.

Tsokolateria is an artisanal cafe that serves home-cooked Filipino dishes made sweeter with chocolate. It balances the sweet and savory flavors that you will surely crave for more.

Tsokolateria’s cozy setup is also perfect for the lovey-dovey. They have canopied rattan seats surrounded by hanging plants. The outdoor lanai is ideal for lingering while soaking up Tagaytay’s natural beauty.

Mon’s Restaurant

Mon’s Restaurant is a farm-to-plate concept dining place. Mon stands for Meant for Organic and Natural which means the luxurious resto puts a premium on the health and wellness of its patrons.

Nothing screams love louder than that. This is more so when you “Dine Under the Stars”—an option where lovers may dine in the garden. The setup includes a canopy, cushioned seats, and ferry lights.

The Purple Owl

The Purple Owl is the city’s best-kept secret, but not for long. A two-day advanced booking is required, though, but for good reasons. You can customize the food and the setup to make it appropriate for an anniversary dinner or a proposal perhaps.

Mrs. Gee’s Kitchen provides the food. There are two set course meals for options.

Lime & Basil Restaurant

Another dining place that follows a farm-to-table concept in this list, Lime & Basil Restaurant differs in that it’s a garden cafe. It also offers authentic Thai cuisine.

Although diners are allowed to roam the herb and vegetable gardens and the craft store inside, it is really the garden setup that sets the romantic mood. The place is very casual and relaxed with a few tables so the guests may pay attention to one another.

Cafe Voi La

Crosswinds Tagaytay boasts of Cafe Voi La. The diner is quaint but it can charm the guests with its ambiance and, of course, Asian food selection. These are fusion dishes ideal for the gastronomically adventurous couples.

Other than the expansive selection, the vibrant colors of the cafe would make you want to linger more a bit.

Chateau Hestia

There are at least three things to like about Chateau Hestia. These are enjoying European cuisine inside a country-style home surrounded by lush greeneries. It’s not just any other European cuisine but native Austrian dishes.

What makes it more interesting is it’s a bed and breakfast that invites you and your loved one to stay for the night or two. The bedrooms have a distinct and rustic feel you’d never want to leave the place.

Deli de San Honore

You don’t hear so much about Deli de San Honore because it’s a hidden place and a very tranquil place at that. The dining place is both a bakery and a restaurant, serving both homemade breads and weekend specials.

The place is cozy and comfortable. The garden-style setup can only accommodate up to 18 people at a time, so you don’t have to sacrifice quality time with your loved one.

El Cocinero by Chef Arnaldo

El Cocinero claims to serve the best paella in the Philippines, although it is just one of the options on their Spanish-Mediterranean menu.

The posh eatery is tucked inside a gated neighborhood, away from the chaotic nature of the surrounding place. You can focus on each other here while enjoying pasta, pizza or tapa.

Marcia Adams

Tagaytay is full of garden restaurants, and one of them is the Tuscany-inspired Marcia Adams. It serves Meditteranean dishes that the owner herself, Marcia, prepares for her guests.

As such, it is not only perfect for a quick romantic getaway to celebrate something special, particularly at the sunset lounge. The intimate dining experience will surely compensate for the time spent traveling.

Milagros Private Kitchen

Based on its name, Milagros is a secluded venue, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. So expect intimate dining experiences albeit the outdoor setup.

Another good thing about Milagros is the customizable menu, though it mainly serves traditional Filipino dishes. It also offers homemade and bottled gourmet products. Advanced reservation (3 to 5 days) is required.

Narra Hill Tagaytay

Narra Hill is an ideal venue for celebrating special occasions and milestones. It’s a bed and breakfast that also doubles as a venue for dates, prenup shoots or intimate weddings.

The place is serene and secluded, with a breathtaking view to complete the ambiance.

The Teahouse at Qiwellness Living

Unsurprisingly, The Teahouse offers healthy dishes that are cooked using traditional Chinese culinary techniques.

A two-day reservation is needed if you want you and your SO to enjoy the food, scenery, and wellness offers of the place.

Nurture Wellness Village

Nurture Wellness Village is primarily a retreat house; it’s DOT-accredited also. The Filipino decors are complemented by the Filipino dishes the diner serves to its guests.

On the other hand, if you and your loved one are looking for new adventures, the place also offers glamping. It is perfect for a more casual, relaxing date outside the metro.

Dreamland Arts & Crafts Cafe

Dreamland is as artsy as it can get, making it perfect for couples who are fond of board games and dream catchers.

The 24/7 cafe has a dreamy interior that creates a romantic vibe for the visitors to savor.

Fire Lake Grill

If there’s a homey dining place in Tagaytay, that would be Fire Lake Grill. Grilled foods are, of course, its specialties like steaks and seafood.

You can never go wrong with steaks + wine, right? This is particularly true in Tagaytay, which is known for its cuddle weather all year round.

The Black Roof

The Black Roof is a concept dining place, throwing an industrial, rustic vibe. It is also an events place that you must book to celebrate special occasions extraordinarily.

Advanced reservation is required because it caters to dressing up the place to whatever you want it to.

Despite the recent turn of events connected to the eruption of Taal Volcano, Tagaytay never gets old, never gets tired. And it will surely recover from this unfortunate incident, and so are these most romantic restaurants in Tagaytay City that are somehow affected.
